Fortuna C.F.R. is coming to rock our parish and lift up our youth in
faith with powerful heart-changing talks on the Theology of the Body, and with the great music he is so famous for! He is an amazing, dynamic and hilarious speaker, and if you have never watched a Franciscan friar rap or beat-box, you might just want to come and check this out!

- Morning --> sessions on the Theology of the Body for Teens for St. Aloysius Gonzaga S.S. students
- 7:00pm --> Theology of the Body for Adults (entire parish and the whole community of Mississauga are welcome) - A free-will offering will be accepted

- 7:00pm --> Youth Mass and homily (entire parish community is invited)
- 8:00pm --> XLT! Eucharistic Praise & Worship with talk and music (entire parish community is invited)

Life Chain cancelled - BUT...

Unfortunately, the Life Chain will no longer be taking place this year
due to unforeseen circumstances related to the Chain's organizational
team. However, we still encourage you to come to the chapel and spend
some time praying for all those affected by abortion: the unborn babies,
their mothers and fathers, their families; and for the conversion of
those who procure, promote and facilitate abortions, as well as so that
the laws in our country will change and respect life from conception to
natural death.

How many times have you prayed the "Our Father" (The Lord's Prayer) in your life? Have you ever given much thought about what you are ACTUALLY saying when you pray it?
On Friday, October 14th from 6:45-9:00pm, we invite all students in grades 7 and 8 to join us for a great night of fun and meet tons of other teens who are on fire for Christ! On this night we will learn about how Jesus wants us to pray and what the words of the Lord's Prayer really mean!

"In the Flesh" Youth Retreat!!
5) All youth 14-19 years of age are invited to our youth retreat which is organized by our LifeTeen youth ministry. It is going to be truly EPIC and there are only 50 spots available, so I encourage you all to sign up early.
Friday, October 21 - Sunday, October 23 - Teopoli, Gravenhurst, Ontario
- Registration fee: $100 (includes meals and transportation)
- Mark the dates on your calendar, book the time off work, and join us for the experience of a lifetime!
- Open to all youth, but priority will be given to LifeTeen-registered teens, so register for LifeTeen in September!! ;)
- First come, first serve - bring your money in along with your registration form to save your spot!!

Attention all young adults!! (19-35 years old)
Is GOD CALLING YOU to serve Him by bringing the youth of today to Christ?
The Youth Ministry Office at Merciful Redeemer is seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our Core Team, the volunteering group that helps run our LifeTeen (high school) program.
Qualifications:
- Be at least 19 years of age (and having graduated from high school)
- Be a faithful practicing Catholic (you attend Mass every Sunday, receive the Sacraments regularly, and are faithful to the teachings, precepts and morals of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church)
- Have a positive attitude and enthusiasm
- Have a deep desire to serve God and his Church
- Police background check
- No previous experience required
