LifeTeen at Merciful Redeemer Parish will travel to downtown Toronto to join Cardinal Collins and hundreds of other young people for the annual WYD Palm Sunday Walk on SATURDAY, March 31. Bellow are the details for this awesome event, as well as a link to the PDF permission form.
Event Date: Saturday, March 31 – 5:00pm – 10:30pm
Details: 5:00 pm - Departure from Merciful Redeemer
Parish (make sure to eat supper before you come)
5:45 pm - Approximate time of arrival at St.
Paul’s Basilica (63 Power Street, Toronto)
6:00 pm - Music, Catechesis, Group Discussion
7:30 pm - Blessing of Palms & Mass Begins
at St. Paul's Basilica; Procession with WYD Commemorative Cross to St.
Michael's Cathedral (65 Bond Street, Toronto)
8:15 pm - Celebration of the Lord's Passion
with Archbishop Thomas Cardinal Collins at St. Michael's Cathedral
Return: 9:45pm - Approximate departure time from St.
Michael’s Cathedral
10:30-10:45 pm - Approximate time of arrival
at Merciful Redeemer Parish (teens will be able to call their rides from
the bus)
Cost: $5 to cover the
bus
Sitting is limited, so please bring your permission form and payment to the Church ASAP to avoid disappointment (preferably during LifeTeen, this Saturday, March 24).
